Worncumulus: A Weathered Song weaves together mechanical sounds produced by repetition and malfunction with a recording containing the voice of an imagined child, evoking a childhood that remains deep within even into adulthood. Heard throughout Gwangju Theatre, these sounds resonate with nearly a century of cinematic history, carrying traces of memory and erosion, rupture and continuity.
