A possibility. A thought.

Someone once told me that you and I could have been good friends, and I thought, but we already are, just in a rather unconventional way. We’ve been friends for nine months now, from opposite sides of a wall. I wondered what a strange feeling it must be, for two people to be able to reach each other only when the other is no longer there. As if the world had taken away every possible way for us to find each other, leaving just one door, one that could only open from one side. How cruel of the world to offer us such a chance. And yet, I would have gladly given you my chance to stay. You, who would have stayed behind, with all those blue stains.
