Hamlet
Prince Hamlet of Denmark returns to court after his father’s death, only to discover that the world he once knew has changed: his mother has married his uncle Claudius, who has taken the dead king’s throne. An encounter with his father’s ghost reveals the truth about his father’s murder and calls on Hamlet to avenge him. Yet the truth brings him no clarity; instead, it marks the beginning of an inner conflict in which his desire for revenge clashes with doubt, moral conviction, and the fear of irreversible consequences. Struggling to determine whom he can trust and how to act in a world where outward respectability conceals betrayal, Hamlet becomes increasingly absorbed in questions of death, human nature, and the meaning of existence.
